EU/UK Youth Stronger Together Project 23/24

In November, Lurgan College joined the British Council funded EU/UK Youth Stronger Together Project. We have been paired with four other schools located in Birmingham, Spain, Greece and Ukraine. We were given the topic of fake news and disinformation and groups made up of approximately 25 students from each school must work together to raise awareness about this social issue. The project, designed by the students, will eventually be pitched as part of a competition that will be held in February. We wish our students all the best as they begin this social action project alongside Tile Cross Academy (Birmingham, England); IES Virgin del Espino (Soria, Spain); Intercultural High School of Evosmos Thessaloniki, Greece) and Zaporizhia Gymnasium No. 11 (Zaporizhia, Ukraine).
