SIMS Parent App
This App will enable you to receive real-time information regarding your son / daughter’s journey through the College. This service is designed for use by all parents/guardians and you will be able to access the information remotely through a PC or mobile devices, such as laptops, tablets and smartphones.
Parents/guardians will be able to view:
- Your son/daughter’s attendance records;
- Individual pupil timetable;
- Lurgan College’s academic calendar;
- School Activities;
- Academic reports (Please note – paper copies will no longer be available but can be easily downloaded from the app);
- Data Collection – you can check and amend the personal data (contact and medical details) which we hold about your son/daughter at any time.
The app can be downloaded from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store when you search for SIMS Parent App. Parents/guardians who do not wish to use the app will be able to access a browser version at the following address – https://www.sims-parent.co.uk/
Information with regards to the roll out will initially be sent via Parentmail as well as being posted on the school website and social media accounts.
IMPORTANT – you must “Allow Notifications” or have notifications switched on to ensure that you receive key information about your son/daughter’s progress as well as school announcements (e.g. notices re school closure)

I do not wish to download the app on my phone or mobile device
SIMS Parent is accessible online at www.sims-parent.co.uk. This does not require an App to be installed and can be accessed via any web browser.
I have not received an email invitation with my code
An email will only be sent if you have returned the Parental Access Google Form. If you have submitted this and have not yet received a registration email:
- Check your SPAM or JUNK folder for an email from noreply@sims.co.uk.
- Contact info@lurgancollege.lurgan.ni.sch.uk and leave your details so we may check that the email address we have for you is correct and then re-issue an invitation.
My code has expired
Each individual code expires after 90 days. You should have received reminders from school in the interim; however, if you need a new invite, please contact info@lurgancollege.lurgan.ni.sch.uk. We will aim to send a new code out within 48 hours; so please check all folders including junk and spam items in your email provider for the new invite.
I do not have any accounts listed – Microsoft (Hotmail, Outlook, Live), Google (Gmail, Google Mail), Facebook, Twitter.
You will need to set up one of the above accounts to access and use the SIMS Parent App.
I have followed the steps listed above, including following the guidance on the school website, and I am unable to gain access.

I have children who attend different schools, who both use the SIMS Parent App. Can I view all of my children in one place?
It is now possible for parents to use the same login details to register with multiple SIMS Parent schools. This will allow users to change school once inside SIMS Parent App.
