‘Blue Plaque’ unveiled for former pupil

Former pupil Mary Graham "Mollie" McGeown was honoured by the unveiling of a ‘Blue Plaque’ from the Ulster History Circle at school.

Mollie was a pioneer in kidney dialysis and transplantation, as well as overseeing the first dialysis centre in Northern Ireland. This plaque will undoubtedly inspire many current and future pupils to follow in Mollie’s footsteps.
