Soroptimist Public Speaking Competition
On Monday 14 Novemeber six students from Lurgan College competed at the local heat of the Soroptimist Public Speaking Competition. We were delighted to see Martha McTernaghan and Lyla-Grace Thompson awarded first and second place respectively.
Megan Barbour, Fatima Bebe, Amy Jones & Maggie Lappin also delivered excellent speeches on a wide array of interesting topics. Thanks go to Mrs Hinds for supporting these students as they prepared for this competition. We wish Martha all the best as she advances to the N.I. final in February 2024.
