• Wednesday 13 November 2024 Soroptimist Public Speaking Competition 2024 Well done to Maggie, Fatima, Leah and Michaela who took part in the regional heat of the Soroptimist Public Speaking Competition. Congratulations go to Maggie who was placed second and Leah who achieved first place. Leah will now represent the area in the N.I. Final in February.

• Friday 16 August 2024 College celebrates outstanding A level results! 2024 marked a milestone for public examinations as well as our own pupils as they completed the first normal exam year since 2019. With grades widely expected to return to pre-pandemic levels and a predicted fall in the number of A-level entries awarded top A* and A grades, our pupils were understandably nervous as they received their results on Thursday morning. This anxiety, however, soon turned to joy as our pupils celebrated a wonderful set of A level results which, once again, feature amongst the very best in the school’s long and illustrious history.
• Friday 28 June 2024 Generation Innovation Careers Project Rebecca participated in Catalyst's Generation Innovation project, collaborating with PA Consulting to tackle pressing environmental issues within the agri-business sector. Rebecca's team’s project was award the first prize!

• Tuesday 5 December 2023 EU/UK Youth Stronger Together Project 23/24 In November, Lurgan College joined the British Council funded EU/UK Youth Stronger Together Project. We have been paired with four other schools located in Birmingham, Spain, Greece and Ukraine.
